Yashiro is a moving barrage of fists that makes you afraid to press buttons because you're going to get hit by a truck for making a mistake.
Kyo and Iori are nice updates to their KOF14 forms with strong all around tools and can rack up damage quickly by stringing together EX moves at will. With how quickly meter tends to build up, it feels as though you almost always have at least one EX move online to use.Ī large chunk if not the majority of EX moves allow for juggles and combo extensions, and they really open up what can sometimes feel like a rigid structure - especially if you're not as familiar with the series.īetween the eight playable characters available during this beta period, each of them feel like they've got the juice to fight while also being distinct from one another and are scary to go up against. The big game changer compared to the last is the option to once again perform EX specials outside of Max Mode, which is where a lot of the meat lies.
